USB-Link 2 has been superseded by the USB-Link 3. The cables work on both USB-Link 2 or USB-Link 3.

Nexiq USB-Link 3 is compatible with applications that diagnose engines, transmissions, ABS, instrument panels and more.

The Bluetooth module supports wireless communication via an enhanced data rate (500K b/s J1939). For even more reliability, the USB connector has been upgraded to a more robust, automotive grade connector with a latching mechanism.

The USB-Link™ 3 comes with the following:

• Latching USB Cable (part # 404032)
• 6 pin Deutsch to 9 pin Adapter (part # DKOBD6)
• 9 pin Deutsch Cable (part # 493128)
• OBDII Cable (part # 493113)

Note: For best results, Class 1 (100 m range) Bluetooth® USB adapters are recommended. Class 1 adapters are recommended because of their greater operating range.
